1. motherbooks:

We’re proud to announce that Mother Books has teamed up with Zach Hazard Vaupen to publish a collection of his awesome web comic Pixel Dog’s Soft Bark.

Pixel Dog is a 56 page risographed behemoth; this book is thick! Debuting at The Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Fest this coming weekend. Don’t miss it!

Get it at Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Festival this weekend (I’ll be at the Closed Caption Comics table on the upper floor in the left corner).  Afterwards you’ll be able to purchase them directly from me or from Mother Books.

REBLOG for a chance to win a free copy! I’ll pick a winner at random on Monday after the festival is over. You can only enter to win by reblogging.  Liking doesn’t count, but can be used as a supplementary entry into the contest if you reblog also.  The winner will be contacted via tumblr.  ~ZHV

  9. Hurricane Reading: The Life and Times Of Eric Gunose

This is a fully linoleum cut printed comic I made in 2011 for TCAF.  It was only an edition of around 30 so not a lot of people have gotten to see it in full, so I thought I’d scan it for everyone.  Not the most story driven comic I’ve done, but it was fun to make (and took a million hours of cutting/carving).
